Additional Marc Ford & The Neptune Blues Club Information

Weary and Wired , Marc Ford s first CD for the Blues Bureau International label, was a significant recording showcasing Marc s strength as a
singer/songwriter, fueled by large doses of his phenomenal guitar work that fans and reviewers compared to guitar masters such as Clapton, Hendrix
and Beck. After touring for much of 2007 in support Weary And Wired , Ford entered the studio earlier this year and delivered a blues infused set of original songs where his guitar is featured front and center. The advance feedback for Marc Ford & The Neptune Blues Club is that Ford has delivered his finest studio work to date.

What Customers Say About Marc Ford & The Neptune Blues Club:

The songs are straight up fresh, and at the same time classic rock and roll. Ford's guitar smokes through a perfect blend of blues and rock that raises the hair on the back of my neck. This one will (like the previous two Marc Ford disc's) cause someone else to move down a notch on my top ten album chart. What can I say.this disc is red hot. Mr. From the first song to the last I was left with the jaw dropping question, the Black who.

There isn't anything pretty here. This is gritty blues rock at it's finest. It came and hasn't left the player. Mule, Black Crows, boogie blues all mixed in to an original sound. Wow, this is a great one that slipped up on me by taking a chance. I read the reviews and ordered it. There's a little Govt.

take a chance on this one. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a heavy dose of guitar in their bluees. While I really enjoyed this album - I'm not sure who to recommend this to.It is different from most blus-rock albums out there now. This is loose, gritty, and has a almost live (studio live, that is) feel to it. Just.

There are so many great songs on this album, but the one that sticks out most is "smilin.'" You can tell he knows a thing or two about guitars and getting great sounds out of them. His first album "It's About Time" was more soul than blues. It puts Eric Clapton, Peter Green, and basically all other blues guitarists to shame. It's hard to express just how much I love this album. In a perfect world, it would be. HIs second, "weary and wired" was mostly straight blues rock, and this one is a combination of the two, showing his growth as a guitarist and a songwriter.

I know those are strong words, but this is possibly one of the best albums ever created and it makes me angry this isn't the top selling album right now. Marc Ford continues his success as a solo artist by releasing his third straight incredible album full of mean dirty blues, soul, and multi-textured sound-scapes. I've been listening to it almost constantly since I got it for Christmas. Every lover of the blues should pick up this album.

Please buy it full price, and that is nominal, if you or I do not do that, this wonderful music will dissapear. Any blues afficianado, or anyone into music would find this album a revelation, as all of Marc Fords' albums, listening to him in the early days, I understood his impact as a guitar player immediately, incredibly soulful, but I am much more impressed by his solo efforts, the songwriting, and you will not do wrong at all by adding this to your collection of music. enjoy this album, pay for it, and it smokes.
